The information you transmit in our electronic payment service occurs over a secure line. When you reach the final step in the payment process and press the "CHECKOUT" button, your browser looks for a digital certificate to confirm that it is communicating with nycserv.nyc.gov. Our system uses VeriSign software to enable the use of digital certificate technology.
