Official Payments Corp. charges a convenience fee to make a payment using its service. This fee is
separate from the primary obligation you are paying. The convenience fee is included in the total
Amount to Pay line on the Fee Information page.
Satisfactory completion of a payment transaction is contingent upon both the authorization of payment
by your Card issuer and acceptance of your payment by the City of New York Department of Finance. In the
event your payment is not processed or authorized by your credit card company or if the Department of
Finance does not accept your payment, your payment liability shall remain outstanding and unpaid and you
will be subject to all applicable penalties, fees and charges assessed by the City of New York, all of
which obligations remain your sole responsibility.
